Food and Nutrition Security Support
BIDACF has always believed that the provision of relief food would be good but people are better able to feed themselves if they are able to produce more for their own consumption, or if they are able to generate additional income to have more flexibility in purchasing food for their short and long term nutritional needs. Building on this commitment, the Food and Nutrition Security Support Program will contribute to the increase of agricultural productivity and food production to ensure food self-sufficient households both quantitative and qualitative, and an adequate dietary intake for all its members, in a gender sensitive, socially acceptable and environmentally friendly manner.
For a one time support of $480. pre household, it will be catering for agricultural in puts like improved seeds, vegetable seeds, cassava planting materials, and hand hoes, trainings in modern and less labor intensive farming technologies and improved storage farcicalities.
If you cannot afford this, please consider making a smaller regular donation.
No deductions are made from the sponsors' payments for administration. Our administrative costs will be met by unrestricted donations and Gift Aid. All sponsorship payments therefore go 100% to the charity's work for and around the most vulnerable household.
